Story Hive Competition Time

Every book we see in a bookshop has a description on the back. A mini summary if you will, one that hopes it will make us buy the book. In our competition, we want you to write a sixty-six-word description to entice us to buy the book!

How it works: We offer you eight possible book titles. You now have to imagine what that book could be about and then convince us to want to read it.

This month’s book titles are Lucy’s Way – The Edinburgh Steps – The Song of Dellara – A Priest in Cuba – My boy Sid – The Fire Inside – The Amazing Mrs Beasley – Death has Shadows.

For example:  The Fire Inside by AN Writerperson– A searing tale of intrigue, set inside the shadowy world of counterintelligence. An experimental bioweapon has been stolen and in Berlin, BND Inspector Klaus Brunner is tasked with its return. Three Russian scientists are dead. The secret facility exposed to the world.
